Queensrÿche’s “Digital Noise Alliance”, their most recent studio album – No 16 – is celebrating seven months of existence and we thought about talking to the singer himself! Todd La Torre, the Tower of Queensrÿche, is talking to us about the album, the headline tour (e.n. it was about to start when we did the interview), the world of today, the fact that young people today can not think of a reality without the internet.
Todd is giving us the vibe inside the Queensrÿche camp. Everybody is in great shape. The band, almost everyone in the band, with the exception of EdBass and Stoney, is living in Florida and get togethers are easy as breathing.
We talked for more than thirty minutes. Learned about the record, about the approach, about the ideas and the brainstorming. About the tours with Judas Priest and about being on stage for… ever!
Having Todd sharing stories about the Ryche and the new era, the new music, is a bliss. He’s an amazing singer, a fabulous musician and a fantastic person to talk to. I remember we first got to interview him back in 2013 and it’s been a wonderful series of interviews ever since. Todd, we celebrate ten years, man! All the best to you and the boys! Take Hold!
First question was about the amazing artcover. Of course it was!
