“I never had a backup plan; I just write songs”
Come September and Pavlov’s Dog will be performing in Greece. Two shows – one in Athens and one in Thessaloniki. We had the opportunity to chat with David Surkamp, the heart and soul of the band, about their fifty-year journey, the upcoming album “Wonderlust”, set to be released in 2025, the reunion with David Hamilton for the tour, and of course, their music.
David is happy when recording, when performing, when talking to the crowd, when speaking to the Press. He’s the very definition of a true professional and a total music connoisseur. And you know what? Every newest song is probably his favorite. Fresh in his head, fresh for all of us to hear, to listen and indulge. As for the audience beloved songs, during a show… Well, you just have to guess… or listen to this interview.
