Ασπρόμαυρο… Ναι… ΔΕΝ μου αρέσει η λέξη… Μαυρόασπρο (πολύ καλύτερα τώρα) βίντεο και riff αλά σουπεροκιά. Το γράφω ήρεμα και όμορφα. Όπου ξαναδώ τη λέξη Stoner, θα της ρίξω μαγειρική σόδα και λευκό ξύδι! Το δυναμικό τρίο καργάρει τον ρυθμό λίγο πριν το κουπλέ και μας σερβίρει ένα κιθαριστικό κατευθείαν από τη γκαρνταρόμπα του Hetfield. To “Burning Roads” είναι κολλητικό τραγούδι, το ρεφρέν θα σας βρει να το μουρμουρίζετε και να το τραγουδάτε και το σόλο είναι τίγκα στο wah και την τάβλα με πολλά κάπα. Το άλμπουμ “Mothertruck” (αγαπώ λογοπαίγνιο) βρίσκεται προ των πυλών και η μπάντα θα μας απασχολήσει πολύ ευχάριστα στο άμεσο μέλλον. Ευχόμαστε, εννοείται, πολλή και καλή επιτυχία και εδώ θα είμαστε, να θαυμάσουμε και να στηρίξουμε, όταν με το καλό κυκλοφορήσει ο δίσκος από την Octopus Rising/Argonauta Records.

Να ζητήσω προκαταβολικά συγγνώμη από όσους διαβάζουν/θα διαβάσουν το άρθρο, για τον τίτλο. Το κάνουμε για τον αλγόριθμο, ο οποίος κανονικά θα έπρεπε να είναι εκεί που δεν φέγγει το φεγγάρι, αλλά φευ… Για να ξαναγυρίσουμε στα σημαντικά, παραθέτουμε όλες τις πληροφορίες του βίντεο – και όχι μόνο – όπως εκείνες αναγράφονται κάτω από το βίντεο των παιδιών. Το δεύτερο full length (μετρούν και ένα ΕΡ) θα σπείρει πολλά μάδερτρακ…

Greek heavy rock trio Fuzzing Nation have officially joined Octopus Rising, the parallel imprint of Argonauta Records, and are unveiling their first single under the label, “Burning Roads”, accompanied by the explosive official music video.

Formed in late 2022 in Athens, Fuzzing Nation emerged from a spontaneous studio jam between three seasoned musicians, Angel Ioannidis (Vocals, Guitar), Steve Giannakos (Bass) and Terry Moros (Drums) quickly evolving into a full-fledged powerhouse of fuzz-heavy riffs, desert-driven grooves and raw heavy rock energy. Drawing influence from the heat-baked sound of Kyuss, Fu Manchu’s groove-laden drive and the spirit of the early Palm Desert scene, the band has carved a niche with their warm, gritty, and riff-focused stoner rock, perfect for open roads and endless horizons.

Their earlier releases, the self-titled EP (2023) and “Into the Desert” (2024), showcased both raw intensity and growing songwriting sophistication, earning accolades including an 8/10 from the Greek edition of Metal Hammer.

“Burning Roads” marks a new chapter for Fuzzing Nation, highlighting their signature desert-fuzz sound while paving the way for the upcoming worldwide release of their concept album “Mothertruck”. The track’s official video captures the relentless energy and hypnotic groove that have become synonymous with the band’s live performances. With a growing fanbase of dedicated “Mothertruckers” and a packed live schedule across Greece and Europe, Fuzzing Nation are ready to ride further into the global stoner rock scene, armed with heavier riffs, louder amps, and a sound drenched in desert dust.
